MNU Business School
In 1991, Maldives Centre for Management and Administration was established and now known as MNU Business School. On 7 October 1991, the Maldives Center for Management and Administration (MCMA) was established under the auspices of the Ministry of Planning and National Development. On 1 October 1998, the Maldives College of Higher Education was established and the name of MCMA was changed to Institute of Management and Administration (IMA) and it became operational on 1 January 1999. The name of IMA was changed to Faculty of Management and Computing (FMC) on 1 February 1999. The Maldives College of Higher Education became a university on 15 February 2011. On 3 June 2013, MNU. Business School was established. The faculty offers courses ranging from advanced certificate to master's level in Business, Economics, Marketing, Human Resource Department, Accounting and Finance. In 2017, a partnership with the University of Management Sciences, Malaysia, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme was launched, allowing students to pursue level 10 qualifications in the country.
