current Intake
Overview
The Bachelor of Accounting and Finance course is a specialized accounting and Finance degree program aimed at higher secondary students and those students who have achieved prior knowledge at tertiary levels in the area of accounting and finance. The degree not only aims to develop students’ knowledge in accounting and finance discipline but also it allows students to gain skills necessary to perform accounting related tasks in the work environments. The degree has been benchmarked with international accounting degree programs offered in the UK, Australia and New Zealand and allows students from this course to progress to post graduate study in accounting or any other related field.
Entry Requirements
General Entry
- i) Two passes at GCE AL/HSC including one GCE A Level subject AND English Language qualification or equivalent or satisfactory performance in a English Competency Test (ECT) given by MNU OR
- ii) Pass in MNU certificate 4 Foundation Studies target program OR
- iii) Attainment of a Level 4 qualification in a related field of Business, Finance or accounting
General Notes
- Entry requirements are indicative. Depending on the sequence and the number of applications received, all qualifying students may not gain entry.
- Circumstances may require the University to defer or cancel some courses, especially when the minimum class size (10 for certificate & diploma courses, 15 for Degrees courses) is not achieved.
- Passes at GCE OL/SSC and HSC is considered to be grades "C" or above and passes at GCE AL is considered to be the grades "E" or above.
