Overview

The Bachelor of Marketing program is meticulously designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge required for a successful career in the field of marketing. Throughout the course, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of strategic marketing concepts and learn how to apply them effectively to various business activities. Additionally, the program focuses on developing students' communication skills, teamwork abilities, critical and analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and research skills, enhancing their overall proficiency as marketing professionals. The structure is modelled on marketing degrees offered by well-known universities in UK, Australia and New Zealand to enable benchmarking. It allows graduates of this course to progress to post graduate study in marketing and related fields at an overseas university. Some subjects from our existing diploma and degree programs have been incorporated into Bachelor of Marketing. Therefore, the students who are doing this course will have the opportunity to switch to other courses offered at this faculty and advanced standing may be granted to the subjects studied in Bachelor of Marketing."

Entry Requirements

General Entry

  • i) Two passes at GCE AL/HSC including one GCE A Level subject AND English Language qualification or equivalent or satisfactory performance in a English Competency Test (ECT) given by MNU OR
  • ii) Pass in MNU certificate 4 Foundation Studies target program OR
  • iii) Attainment of a Level 4 qualification in a related field and an English language qualification or equivalent or satisfactory performance in an English Competency Test (ECT) given by MNU

General Notes

  • Entry requirements are indicative. Depending on the sequence and the number of applications received, all qualifying students may not gain entry.
  • Circumstances may require the University to defer or cancel some courses, especially when the minimum class size (10 for certificate & diploma courses, 15 for Degrees courses) is not achieved.
  • Passes at GCE OL/SSC and HSC is considered to be grades "C" or above and passes at GCE AL is considered to be the grades "E" or above.
