Overview

The Master of Science in Computer Science offers an advanced curriculum balancing core theoretical foundations with cutting-edge practical skills. Students explore research methodologies, theoretical computer science, and data analysis before specializing in cloud architecture, security governance, and blockchain technology. Electives allow custom focus areas in machine learning, natural language processing, IoT, cyber threat intelligence, and software engineering. The program culminates in a two-part dissertation project.

Entry Requirements

General Entry

  • i) Attainment of a related Bachelor's Degree OR a related Graduate Diploma at Level 8.

General Notes

  • Entry requirements are indicative. Depending on the sequence and the number of applications received, all qualifying students may not gain entry.
  • Circumstances may require the University to defer or cancel some courses, especially when the minimum class size (10 for certificate & diploma courses, 15 for Degrees courses) is not achieved.
  • Passes at GCE OL/SSC and HSC is considered to be grades "C" or above and passes at GCE AL is considered to be the grades "E" or above.
