The Doctor of Philosophy in Public Health is designed for experienced academics and public health professionals who have completed a research master’s degree in public health or a closely related field. The program aims to develop graduates with the skills necessary to address the challenges of understanding scientific knowledge, acquiring analytical and practical research skills, and conducting independent research studies. Throughout the intensive three-year duration of this research-focused program, candidates will engage deeply in an extensive exploration of contemporary public health theories and practices, while developing a profound comprehension and critical perspective essential for scholarly inquiry and professional advancement in their chosen area of research.

Fees stated above are tuition fees for local students. Fees for international students is twice the stated fees. All fees are quoted in MVR.

Graduates of the PhD in Public Health can pursue careers as academic researchers, university faculty, or policy advisors.
