Overview

This course is designed to provide an orientation to agriculture careers and further education by introducing the principles of crop production and horticulture. The graduates of this program will gain essential knowledge and skills to support the sector and offer practical solutions to current problems in the industry.

Entry Requirements

General Entry

  • i) 3 passes in GCE O'Level/SSC with C grade and above

Alternative Entry

  • i) 18 years old and 1 year work experience AND Ability to communicate in the language of instruction

Language Requirements

  • i) Certified Proficiency in English (GCE O'Level English pass/IGCSE English pass/MNU English Language Competency Test/ OR Ability to communicate in the language of instruction (English) - Eligibility checked as a pass in an interview)

  • Entry requirements are indicative. Depending on the sequence and the number of applications received, all qualifying students may not gain entry.
  • Circumstances may require the University to defer or cancel some courses, especially when the minimum class size (10 for certificate & diploma courses, 15 for Degrees courses) is not achieved.
  • Passes at GCE OL/SSC and HSC is considered to be grades "C" or above and passes at GCE AL is considered to be the grades "E" or above.
