Overview

Postgraduate Diploma in Education is a specialized program designed to provide advanced training and professional development for individuals seeking to pursue a career in education. The program focuses on developing teaching strategies, classroom management techniques, and educational leadership abilities. This program will be taught in Dhivehi language.

Entry Requirements

General Entry

i) An MQA-Approved level 7 qualification in any discipline other than Education AND

Language Requirements

ii) Proficiency in English language equivalent to a score of 5.5 in IELTS academic module or a "C" grade in the IGSE English OR a pass in an entrance examination given bye the Maldives National University

General Notes

Entry requirements are indicative. Depending on the sequence and the number of applications received, all qualifying students may not gain entry.
Circumstances may require the University to defer or cancel some courses, especially when the minimum class size (10 for certificate & diploma courses, 15 for Degrees courses) is not achieved.
Passes at GCE OL/SSC and HSC is considered to be grades "C" or above and passes at GCE AL is considered to be the grades "E" or above.
