Overview

The Master of Nursing Administration is a specialized graduate program designed to provide nurses with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in leadership and management positions within the healthcare industry. The course curriculum focuses on developing expertise in areas such as healthcare administration, organizational management, strategic planning, healthcare policy, and quality improvement.

Entry Requirements

General Entry

  • i) Bachelor Degree in Nursing AND Nursing registration at Registered Nurse level from the Maldives Nursing and Midwifery Council OR
  • ii) Diploma in Nursing with a qualification of Level 7 or 8 nursing related field AND Nursing registration at Registered Nurse level from the Maldives Nursing and Midwifery Council.

Language Requirements

  • Pass (above 'C') in GCE O' Level in English or IELTS 6.0 OR Equivalent form of International English language testing system

General Notes

  • Entry requirements are indicative. Depending on the sequence and the number of applications received, all qualifying students may not gain entry.
  • Circumstances may require the University to defer or cancel some courses, especially when the minimum class size (10 for certificate & diploma courses, 15 for Degrees courses) is not achieved.
  • Passes at GCE OL/SSC and HSC is considered to be grades "C" or above and passes at GCE AL is considered to be the grades "E" or above.
