Overview

Masters of Public Health will helap studnets understand the interplay of the biological, social, economic, cultural, political, behavioral and environmental factors that affect the health of populations. This program will equip students with leadership and decision making skills to respond to the health care challenges in the planning and delivery of health care in the Maldives. You will also be able to gainthe research capabilities to accurately quantify and address and project public health needs of the society.

Entry Requirements

General Entry

  • i) Attainment of a Level 7 qualifiction in a Health related field and 2 years of work experience in Health field and IELTS 6.0 or equivalent

General Notes

  • Entry requirements are indicative. Depending on the sequence and the number of applications received, all qualifying students may not gain entry.
  • Circumstances may require the University to defer or cancel some courses, especially when the minimum class size (10 for certificate & diploma courses, 15 for Degrees courses) is not achieved.
  • Passes at GCE OL/SSC and HSC is considered to be grades "C" or above and passes at GCE AL is considered to be the grades "E" or above.
