In order for education systems to operate successfully effective evaluations of assessments and its procedures are vital. This course aims to develop the capacity within the Republic of Maldives of persons with the sound knowledge about relevant aspects of educational assessment and equip them with the necessary skills to use relevant soft wares, carry out research related to assessments, monitor, analyse, interpret and evaluate data from school and nation-wide assessments.

Upon graduating, you will have a solid foundation related to assessment, measurement and evaluation. This can be applied both for everyday professional practice like monitoring and accountability, qualification, and evaluation and for broader research purposes. Graduates often pursue careers in Educational and pedagogical institutes, school owners (Ministry of Education, councils) and other organisations promoting life-ling learning and professional development. Human resource management, assessment centers, and consultancy in the commercial and governmental sector. In addition, career paths include employments in policy institutes and research departments at national and international agencies both government and non-governmental organisations.
