A golden opportunity to be a professional librarian The Diploma in Library and Information Services aims to prepare students as professionals who would be able to manage and handle work in any type of library. On completion of the course, students gain the knowledge and skills required to work in libraries or to handle large volumes of information in institutions and organizations. As part of this course, students will undertake a supervised work placement where they will be able to apply the skills and knowledge they have learned. It is designed to enhance skills, develop competency and knowledge of the profession and to increase self-confidence. The aim is to prepare students for effective acquaintance of work and practicalities of an actual library atmosphere. The program is now available in block mode and will be covered in one year. The students will be evaluated through take home assignments and end of semester examinations.

Fees stated above are tuition fees for local students. Fees for international students is twice the stated fees. All fees are quoted in MVR.
